Bhatta and Baker Named Booster Juice Athletes of the Week

(Saint John, NB) Vaibhav Bhatta and Maddie Baker have been named Booster Juice Athletes of the Week. 

Bhatta continued his strong ACAA badminton play by winning the men's singles title for the third straight ACAA tournament. He didn't stop there as he paired with Arshath Vaheed to win the men's doubles title as well. Bhatta has now won every event he has entered except for the men's doubles event at Sainte Anne, where he and partner Carter McCarthy were runners up. 

Baker played a key role in the Seawolves taking down CCAA #7 ranked Mount Saint Vincent on Sunday afternoon. Baker had 17 points off the bench, while playing strong on the ball defense. "Maddie gave a solid, focused effort in both games against MSVU," said head coach, Moira Gagnon. "Beyond her scoring and defense, her on court leadership helped the team stay focused and come away with the win over MSVU on Sunday."
