Seawolves battle Hurricanes but fall after 3 sets

(Saint John, NB) In a competitive match, Holland edged out the Seawolves, winning in three straight sets.
Holland narrowly took the first set 26-24. Both teams showed strong offensive plays and kept their feet moving on defence. Leaders for the Seawolves were William Siefker on offence with 12 kills and Adam Gauthier on defence with 7 digs.
The second set was another nail-bitter with back-and-forth action, but Holland edged out the Seawolves with 12 kills.
In the third set, Holland came out strong, capitalizing on the momentum they had built, winning 25-18.
Next: The Seawolves will face the Holland College Hurricanes in back-to-back action to finish out the weekend.
