(Saint John, NB) The Seawolves faced a tough battle against the Université Sainte-Anne Dragons on home court, falling 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-22).
The Dragons came out strong, taking the first set with a commanding 25-15 win. Their strategic plays and solid defence left little room for UNB Saint John to mount a comeback.
The second set saw the Seawolves attempting to regain momentum, but the Dragons' attacks and service game kept them on top. The Dragons clinched the set 25-19.
In the third and final set, the Seawolves demonstrated resilience and fought hard to close the gap. However, the Dragons secured the set 25-22 to win in three straight sets.
