Chester’s Eve Mossman Adds Creativity and Composure to Seawolves' Attack
(Saint John, NB) The University of New Brunswick Saint John Seawolves women’s soccer program is excited to announce the commitment of Eve Mossman, a dynamic and technically gifted attacker from Chester, Nova Scotia, who brings creativity, versatility, and a strong two-footed skillset to the Seawolves lineup. A graduate of Forest Heights Community School and a long-time member of South Shore United, Mossman arrives in Saint John prepared to make an immediate impact in the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association.
Mossman was first identified by the Seawolves coaching staff at the 2025 South Shore United Showcase in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, and further solidified her place in the program during the Fall ID Camp. Her ability to influence the game in multiple attacking roles quickly stood out, showcasing a player capable of creating and finishing chances with confidence and composure. “Eve is a technically sound player who is comfortable using both feet,” said Seawolves assistant coach Raine Easton. “She has a calm and confident presence on and off the ball and can strike from anywhere on the field. We believe she’s going to have an immediate impact on and off the field. She’s the kind of player every team wants positive, hardworking, and leading by example. Her athleticism stands out, but what really sets her apart is her technical ability and composure. She makes the game look effortless.”
Primarily playing as a left winger, Mossman has also demonstrated the ability to shift into an attacking midfield role, giving her the versatility to adapt within different systems and attacking structures. Beyond her on-field performance, Mossman has established herself as a well-rounded student-athlete. She has earned high school recognition as both a soccer and snowboarding MVP while also maintaining a 90-plus academic average and receiving the Best All-Round Grade 11 Student award. Her commitment to growth extends outside of sport as well, where she has worked as a snowboarding instructor after completing her Level 1 certification and has been actively involved in her community through youth soccer initiatives and volunteer work.
For Mossman, soccer has always been a creative outlet and a space for personal development. “I chose UNB Saint John because it felt like the right environment for me from the start,” Mossman said. “The team was incredibly welcoming, and I loved the smaller campus and close-knit atmosphere. It felt like a place where I could grow, both as a player and as a person, and build strong relationships along the way.” Mossman will enroll in the Bachelor of Arts program and plans to pursue a double major in English and History as she works toward a career in journalism. On the field, her goals are centred on continuing to develop her technical ability, strengthening her mental approach, and building chemistry with her new teammates. With her technical skill, composure, and attacking versatility, Eve Mossman brings an exciting offensive presence and strong character to the Seawolves program.
Welcome to the Seawolves family, Eve.
